Start your safari with a morning pick-up from Dar es Salaam and drive to Selous Game Reserve, approximately 6–7 hours. Enjoy the scenic drive through African savannahs. On arrival, check in at your lodge. At 4:00 PM, embark on a boat safari along the Rufiji River to spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species while enjoying the breathtaking sunset. Dinner and overnight at Selous Safari Lodge or Nyerere Tented Camp.
After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive to explore the diverse wildlife of Selous. Witness elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, and the rare African wild dogs. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park while taking in the sights and sounds of the African bush. Continue with your game drive until late afternoon, then return to the lodge for relaxation.
